The temp in paris are unbelievable, i haven't seen those kind of temp since a long time. In my room it's over 30°C and i'm living on the 6th floor with all windows opened. I had to back down all my oc because of the high temp we had
I can't bench anymore and i have to save my games many time because of crashes, in a way that sucks but on the other hand i can go to the swimming pool and i have a nice tan. I think it's time to spend more time on my other hobbies

In spite of being MUCH souther than Finland, we have only 22-25C in Ukraine from the beginning of july (and extremely nice for o/c 16-20 in the night). It's a coldest summer i've ever seen. Hehe:)
Maybe you guys should immigrate to Antartics... Or just spend there a vacation:)

Yea its pretty hot here too in the afternoons. The prometeia is like a furnace. Sweating like hell. PLus i cant have the ac on all the time. But the prometeia is good in the winter when u need a xtra radiator in your room.

here in texas...need i say more? haha
back at school i live in a dorm with no ac, so ive seen temps hit 100F taken by a thermometer next to my bed, and the computer just stays off stays off becasue of the need to stay cool. i built a swamp cooler im going to use this september when i go back or use a bucket of ice water and a water pump to run cool water thru a heater core with a fan on it that blows cool air into my computer area or where ever i am located hehe. our dorm has an ice machine but no ac! bah.
last fall i ran my 2000+ pally at default speed at 1.4v to minimize heating during the day.

We've had it quite hot here in the UK. My CPU temps are up by about 4~5C from what they normally are. This is enough to crash my PC sometimes, so I have to back off on really hot days.
I feel sorry for my server PC. It's a 1700+ in the mATX ASUS A7N266-VM with 256mb RAM, a TV card, 20GB HD, CD Drive and 400w PSU all in a small mATX case from Tiny. I closed up the case with Akasa Sound mats and it has no case fans, just the CPU fan and PSU fan. On hot days Case temps have been as high as 51C :D CPU temps get to about 56/57C. It so god damn hot, I just take the side off and stick my head in to get a tan!

we will reach 38°C here in germany in the next days
and the summer has just started...
I guess i'm lucky.. it's actually colder in here when it's hotter outside and warmer in here when it's winter.

pffffffffft!
Try having 5 rigs in the same room as yours. Then talk about good ole residual heatness.
I live in NC, USA...we have some pretty hot and sticky summers as well. Humidity sucks.
Room temp is 31 and its only 8am.

The sun is evil for overclocking!
I bench out in my garage, not indoors:(
That way i can hide all my shame from my guests when they come over:)
Instead of listening too what in the hell is all that for.
then you explain it and they just look at you like a puppy when it tilts it's head and just stares at you with out a clue as what you are telling it.

Next month i'm going on vacation to lebanon and it's around 40°C near the sea and it's full of humidity, it's very heavy. I'll go in the mountain where it's around 35°C in the day but the swimming pool water is at 17°C

But the summer effect s*cks indeed. I've changed twice from room to run away from the heat. But now i've found a room which still allows me to oc enough :) And i'll have my wc-setup within some days too, so i'll probably survive the summer:banana:

I have 5 rigs in my basement. (I know but, folding keeps crapping out on me and I don't know why, must be my router):( and right above my workbench is my main AC duct. Right now my case temp on my main rig is 19c and it is 30c outside.

OPP I'm sure the prommie must heat the room more than any other cooling system, but is it sensitive to the room temp? I mean do you see a difference in cpu temp when the room is at 15°C vs when it's at 30°C
saaya

i once build a watercycle that cooled the radiator of the vapochill of a friend, his temps dropped almost 20°C. so i thin the cpu temp in a prommie is related very much to the room temp.

2 desktops and 1 notebook (usually) in the room. One of the desktop was pelted few months back. As the heat started rolling in slowly to S. Cali... I just couldn't deal with it... thus... back to straight H2O :P BTW, noticed about $20 drop on electricity bill :P ($10 a month it is than)... Weather in S.Cal isn't too hot this year though... summer rolled in much slower this time.
