Is there anyway to get higher options in coolbits for the core clock? I only have up to 600MHz.

I remmeber hearing something about using coolbits and manually adding the numbers in the registry yourself...
it was in the post about macci and the 5900 ultra if I remember right.

I don't know, you could get powerstrip and jack it up with that.
When you hit the top of powerstrip, just set that as default, and jack it up another 100mhz.
But, I don't know about coolbits.

Are you maxed out at 540/960? If you can use RivaTuner, go to Power user then to RivaTuner\Overclocking\Current device and you can change your default speed to higher than your card.

I was using powerstrip but for some reason the card wouldn't overclock as well until I switched to coolbits. Kinda strange. I'm familiar with Rivatuner (from the 4600 days) but I just wasn't sure if it was gonna give me problems like PS.

Rivatuner doesn't seem to recognize the card, it customizes 2D&3D speed with one slider :( not healthy for your icons :(
Try PS and add like 150% works fine to me :)

powerstrip 3.4 worked fine, it wouldnt work if your using the..humm "non-official" version.....:D
download the trial version and try again?

Yeah, I'm using the "trial" version. I overclock higher with CB... I'll give PS a try again though.

just curious what driver version your using?
what about disable coolbits while using PS? or vice versa?
both worked for me, and i can clock higher with PS.

I wasn't using coolbits when I had PS on. Its really strange. I'm gonna give PS another run on my newly formatted benching partition. Hopefully it works.

Here you go Joey I just figuerd it out for you:D
Take the last 4 digits of barts decimal# and make it 2300 like in the picture, it works for my setup. I now have 710MHz to play with:rolleyes:,, I wish I could use them:D

Basicly take the decimal of bart and add about 80 to it.

You can also just replace the original Bart decimal value with Bart3D decimal value.
