Just at work and reading through Computer Trade Only Magazine (CTO) and they have info on ATI's new mobo chipsets even a few piccies.

It will feature a built in Radeon 9100 on the IGP (integrated graphics processor) northbridge. Looks like they will be doing Intel and AMD boards unlike nVidia who have only done chipsets for AMD.

Worryingly it will only support a maximum front side bus on 533MHz on the Intel boards not 800MHz! :o

Their Intel board the will supprot Hyper-Threading, AGP 8x, Dual-Channel DDR400, up to 128 mb memory can be used for the 9100, and similar stuff

From the pic I have here it doesn tlook great at all :( No S-ATA and only ATA100.

Apparently there are problems with ATi's southbridges and they will apparently use either a chip by VIA or AMD.

Some of the MOSFETs have heatsinks on them. There will later on be a version out featuring a 9200.

Wil llook around on net for some pictures because it'll be a pain in the a$$ to scan this one in.
