As those buying the Orange box will now be able to send the games they already have to friends, I find that XS is the best place to do this.

I will be giving away Half Life Episode One.

how do you give away a single game using steam to a friend? i go the black box but i only plan on playing EP2.

If you are 2900xt owner, you get black box deal. At least that is what I got. Me need EP1 here.

I guess I'll have a HL2 to give away if anyone doesn't already have that. Also I have a ton of copies of other games too but their all on different accounts so I guess I could only give them away by giving the whole account away. Oh wait, I could do that with EP1, I guess if someone wants my EP1 account they can have that I'll try to find the password and stuff.

EDIT: they EP1 account you could have starting right now since its something I currently own and not related to the orange box.

Valve said they will implement a gift function in steam so that ppl can send game as gifts to friends.

Orange Box gifts will be available to give when the Orange Box officially launches. If you pre-purchase the Orange Box and are eligible for the Orange Box gift, you will still have the gift, you will just have to wait until the release date of Orange Box to give the games to a friend.

they pretty much hacked anything that could be hacked. they can hack all the singleplayer but vac2 holding up against multiplayer hacks (not aimbot hacks i mean vac2 hacks so you can play without real key)

It was possible with Steamdown, but not anymore since you needed an original steamkey. If you now can get other peoples games donated to you (who have different steamkeys), I bet you it will be exploited.

I am not such a stickler for having the absolute latest and greatest games, that I cant enjoy a classic.

graphics arent everything, I like tons of Xbox live games, and those arent anything in the graphics area.
but I still had fun with them.

HL2 was a game I touched on, then lost somewhere over the years.
never got a chance to finish it. but always wanted to.

You give gifts by going to My Games folder in Steam and on right side of the game (if and ONLY if you already had it prior to buying Orange box) there should be a link called "Gift" select it and all u need is the person's e-mail address to send it :)

Come on folks.... you cant give away CS:S... and nobody is going to give away the entire orange box either, its $50 worth of software. The giveaways are for people who bought the orange box but do not need either HL2 or EP1 or both because they have already played them so they can give them to friends. :shrug: :shakes:
