Yeah they mentioned it at its launch that it has shorter load times.
If i remember correctly its cause they added 32MB of ram wich is reduced to reduce the load times.

Yesa pretty impressive if you dont have one, but if you already have a psp i dont see the point on moving to this one just for 5 second faster loading times.
You talkin about the Integrated memory they increased ?
The only thing i dont like about my PSP is the damn battery, if you dont play the thing for like a week the battery drains, and you have to recharge it and reset the time and date ect. Aparently this one does it too, so besides having 64mb of ram over the 32, its just 16% thinner and lighter with a brighter screen big deal..

It actually makes a big difference. I actually own the silver one. I never considered a psp until it got the shrunk. Those minor things are pretty big to me (I am pretty sure to other people as well). As for the resetting the clock thing, I wouldn't know. I have pulled out my battery and haven't had to reset the clock (very short period of times).
I do agree that I wouldn't have bought it if I had another psp, but like I said, I didn't even consider it until the shrink.

I have a white slim PSP, and I am glad I waited for the slim. I find the older psp much too thick for my liking. And yea, they increased to 64mb ram now

To each his own i soppose, i always prefer the bigger versions, maybe because my hangs are big or something, but the smaller things have a cramming fealing to me like i have to move my fingers in odd positions to even play, i prefer the fuller fealing. For example the DS i have the original i like the new screen on the smaller one but the smaller one is just to small for me
Dont use your psp for like a week or something and i bet you the battery will just go completely dead. I dunno why it does that but it does
