Ok well i just started ocing my 9800pro tonite and well...... I benched a bit went out for dinner and when i got back wondows wouldnt start :S, heres the current benchie......... I have no idea what to tweak in rage3d tweak as im new to ATI, my current score is 6,419 (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=1026305). I havent really done too much and everything runs great with stock cooler. No artifacts of any sort what so ever........ I hope I got a good ocing card :D but anyone have any ideas why windows went all ****ed? And now it crashes every time when it gets to 34 mins left while installing the OS WHAT THE ยงยงยงยง IS WRONG! :(:(

cpu running hot? nb running hot? check the voltages on your psu, up the voltages of your cpu...
id say the 9800pro draws more energy so the psu could be the reason, or it produces too much heat so the cpu runs hot ... or maybe the nb

ok like it would crash at the startup screen everytime and now it crashees everyime while reinstalling windows after reformatting at the 34 mins mark when it says, "installing devices"
everyhitngs running good, the cpu is at 35 degrees nb at 22 degrees......... I have on clue, imma try diofferent ram then ill b back

lol, NEVER install windows oced... especially at a speed where you just lost your windows install! :p:

Several people have had this type of complaint abotu installing the OS.
Most certainly do not install the OS in a OCed condition which results in system instability. GO back to stock everything if you can before the install. Not to mention disconnecting anything that you do not need plugged in to help the psu along. How is your 3.3 and 5v rails?
