I've started benching some months ago and i caught the 3dmark bug. My goal is to be 1st in ti4400+AMD, that means getting more than 16.5k. I've modded my card and added some cooling (i'll buy a mcw50-t in september)
I got 15.5k once but i never got it again even with a higher FSB (220vs210) and a higher core clock (310 vs 292)
Do you have any advice on how i could get that score back or how i could break the 16k
Here's my 15.5k run http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=6627523

And that's the back of the card. I've put my abit nb cooler in the center but i don't know if it's making a good contact

That cooler is WAY under-powered for a GF4, they get HOT! Before I got my watercooling I used a socket A cooler, you can drill holes in the base and mount it via the 4 holes around the gpu (assuming you don't have pci cards in the way...).
You're going to need core/mem speeds close to my Ti4600 to get over 16.5k with 2300MHz.

What are the core and mem speed of a ti4600
I also have a papst 120mm fan bolwing on the card, the corb seems to do it's job. I'll have a mcw50-t in october it's just a temporary solution

If you're going to run extra voltage through it, you want more cooling than that.
Just go pick up a stock cooler........

I never talked about a vmod and as i already said twice it's temporary cooling!

custom mod an SLK800 onto it with a SF2 for the core, then get some 40mm and stick them to the side of the card and so they flow over the ramsinks.
vgpu and vmem mod it
vdd mod the board and crank the fsb, with a custom SK6+ northbridge cooler
make some sinks for the nf7's mosfets to keep the power in check.
give a little bit of an overvolt to your 12+ line for good vid card oc's
and get the mhz as high as possible.

Hello Antipop,
I got 16.3k with AMD and ti4400.
Firstly I assume you are running two sticks of memory at 2-5-2-2 ? If not then you need to run two. My score was at 209FSB speed.
From your sig I see you are running a Tbred. Buy a Barton Xp2500 and this will give you 500-700 points in itself, hence hitting 16k+, assuming you can overclock it to 2.3-2.4.
For the card you should be looking at about 320Mhz + core to get towards the top score for AMD. My score of 16.3 was done with 319/648 I seem to remember.
rivatuner LOD seems to be 3.8-4.0 for best results. Your driver and OS seem to be in order !
Hope this helps. I am in #2 overall after DDA knocked me off top spot but temps are too warm at present to do anything about it. my 4400ti will do 328 in winter but only 317 in summer due to it just having a globlawin CAK hs on it. I had hoped to slot a Prescott in this 875i but it looks as if this is now a no goer due to VRM issues. yes, I've been fecked by yet another three letter acronym :)
Hope this helps.
Regards
Andy

I'm running two sticks in DDRDC @ 2-11-2-2 (11 seems to wrok best with my mobo, don't ask why :))I'm oc'ed @2.3 or 2.38 depending on the fsb i use.
I've some heat trouble with the core but i'm waiting a mcw50-t to come
Anyway i upped the core from 292 to 310 and i didn't won any point. That's why i'm asking what happened

What happens if you go to 305 ? You may be getting artifacts or freeze and release issues ?
