I was wondering if anyone could tell me if:

Nickel Plated Intake Extension Screw for Eheim 1046/1048 Pumps
http://www.sharkacomputers.com/ininexscfore.html

would work in the G3/8" fitting thread of a Thermochill PA120.3 radiator?

I am having a hell of a time getting fittings for this radiator because everyone seems to be sold out of them.

This says its G1/4" so 1/4" will not fit into 3/8"

Don't Compression nozzles, although easier, hurt your flow?

I think you'd be best going with regular nozzles (also saves money)

I'm not sure if that adapter would work but I know you could get a G 3/8 to G 1/4 adapter. Go to mcmaster.com and search for 4860K657. The adapters are nickel plated brass, but they don't include an O-ring. For O-rings search 9557K467 they come in packs of 100 and are $8.42. The adapter costs $4.74 each. Hope this helps.

Sorry I'm still a little new to water cooling. If I pick up both the G 3/8 to G 1/4 adapter and the o-rings you suggested, this will still give me a water tight seal correct? I won't have to use any type of tape?

The fitting carholmes listed the number for will work fine with the sealing washer it comes with. There's no need to spend money on unnecessary O-Rings. No Teflon Tape or pipe dope will be needed either.

There's some more info in this thread:http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=158570

Ordering barbs for the Thermochill rads directly from the UK is possible if you're located in the US, although the other options are probably less expensive.
