WSVG is "CANCELLED"

Effective immediately, Games Media Properties will no longer produce the World Series of Video Games. The remainder of the 2007 season in Los Angeles, London and Sweden is cancelled.

This is quite a blow for all competitive gaming as the WSVG hosted and sponsored many of the worlds largest events. WSVG also brought many big sponsors on board with them eg. Intel.

Not really a big blow...main thing they had going for their franchise was WoW...WoW arena competition is almost dead anyways...

Have you ever played them.... They are pretty nice in a scrim but its something you have to get used too.

Yea pubbed in esea with them for a while when they were new. From a pub stance it's fun because there is less time to camp, wait or hold a strat. It takes away from original competitive cs.

True, but the whole salary and global idea of CGS is incredible. The backing and funding behind CGS is quite impressive. I however do hope that they listen to their players :D
