hmmm takes over an hour to finish one frame,
computer's specs:
celly 1000/100MHz coppermine
128MB SDRAM
40g HD
Mandrake 8.2
Any ways to tweak it to get it to fold better? or is that what you guys mean by configurations?

setting it so that it says that its work units are being done by stompah from 3365. At default, they go to this guy...

intel has always been poorer at folding than amd and you are using a celly on top of that.... I dunno what you can do
(buy amd) hehehe

well the Linux rig is dead for now.
Hmm I forgot I didnt set who gets the WU credit... man we need to figure it out.
And JBell it may be an Intel 1g celly but there is no reason for it to take over an hour to finish OE frame.

well folding runs on dead cpu cycles... what else is running on that rig and it could be you have a hard protein to fold like a protein A or something...

nm, it was a k6-2... But it should be much faster than that.

Well anyways as we speak I have swapped out MB & CPU for KK266r and 1g Athlon that is comfortable at 1.33g and formatting the HD for XP.
So my tally is enough to keep me ahead of Netune5k.
