Help with 8800GTX mod please!!!

I was hoping you guys could help out a noob here as I'm trying to complete my 8800GTX volt mod. I have a 500 ohm and 20kOhm VR and trying to figure out what to set the resistance at before I install them. I just want to make sure not to push to much before I turn the card on.

Set to max resistance. Tune down to increase voltage.
