I can only get 230/520 out of my Visiontek GF3. I thought that was okay until I noticed people on madonion getting things like 300 core and over 600 mem... What gives? I've got stock cooling on the card, but I do have a PCI slot cooler and plenty of case fans. Shouldn't I be getting a higher overclock? I mean I saw people with Ti200s getting much higher than what I'm getting...
EDIT: Oh yeah, and what's the difference between driver overclocking and low level hardware overclocking?

Well, as you know, each cpu clocks differently. The Ti200's came later on, and in some cases, have very good components on them (like the Ti4200s with faster memory than the Ti4400s ;) ).
I really don't know the difference between the 2, I always assumed the software just told the video card what speed to run at windows startup, I don't think anything's actually written to the bios/rom of the video card to reprogram its operating speed...

With my GF3 Standard I could only get 236/545 for a score of 8001. Stock cooling does not cut it when your benching.

Hardass, was that with stock cooling that you got 236/545?

Got a friend that can squeeze 249/505 from his Hercules card. Hercules seem to be better made.

Running stock, I've gotten 3 Gainward Ti200 64mb golden samples's to around 250-260/545-560.

Yes I haven,t changed anything. But it won,t go any higher without better cooling.
