Yes,only Gpu and Vmem.
http://space.virgilio.it/tiziano.guglielmi@tin.it/Prommy/coibenta%209800.JPG

In order to arrive to these frequencies I have used these voltages:
1.9v for Gpu and 3.6V for Memory.
Of memory I do not succeed more to increase, of gpu i want trying on the 2v....

Very neat :)

I have seen various Vmod pics from Macci etc.. but am still very unsure about how to install these mods. I need a really good pic of the vgpu&vmem mods in place. I have all the bits I need 10k Pots, wire, iron, dmm etc.. But no clear picture of the connection points for these mods(+,- conns). TBH id rather solder the connections than use grabbers (wich I also have).

Id be eternally greatful if you could point me to a nice clear piccy of a modded 9800 that shows all the solder points required.

I have loads of experience with fine soldering, its just where to solder I need to know. Its a bit different when im playing with my own kit ;)

If you cant its OK. Ill just fumble through. Im going for them both this weekend anyway :)

Carnaby
What the problem to run 2v? I tried 2.05v on simple waterchiller... We've accidentially run R9500 on aircooling with 2.7V and it's still alive and kicking:)

Brett
Best one is macci & sysfailur's as for me, absolutely clear one. Done my v/mods with it and no problems. Check it somewhere in Xtreme Vmods/Gfx Vmods section. If you'll not find it, i'll point you on it but later, just falling asleep now:)

Well played my man :toast::banana:

Now If I could get my score LOWER on this new build I could join you

Nice one.

Oh, whats the "The Benchmark was not run using default settings" bit ??

ala...
http://www.dyonisis.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/25k.jpg

I didnt get the not run at Def bit. Are there some valid tweaks im missing out on ?? I always thought only Def benchies could be published on the ORB.

One more question (Well 4 actually ;) ).

What do you call the max on your system. I understand the CPU/FSB max but how do YOU know your GPU max ?? Does it lock ?? Or just artifact to bad ??

Im curious as I feel that any complete test, regardless of the amount of artifacts, is valid. I bench for the score not the visual quality. So Carnaby, how do you know you have pushed you 9800 as far as it will go ??

I ask these questions as I can replicate(approx) my previous "bugged" scores on my clean Benching partition. So I am thinking what is considered a "valid" result. Is it artifact free running the DEFAULT settigs, or just the number at the end ?? Im no longer sure.

I think that the non-patched version of MArk2001SE gave that message even if it was run at 100% default settings.

Superb OCing and benching btw! :toast:

Hi all.
Sorry for my bad inglish.
It seems me just to list all of the details of my system...
Not any secret :D

Abit IC7 with vmem mod.(Bios 1.4 beta)
P4 3.0@4100(For 3D.)
2x256Mb Kingston hyperx 3500
Gigabyte 9800pro whit mod vgpu and vmem
double Prometeia Cooling(Mach II x Cpu and old prom x Gpu)

http://space.virgilio.it/tiziano.guglielmi@tin.it/Prommy/finale2.JPG
http://space.virgilio.it/tiziano.guglielmi@tin.it/Prommy/finale3.JPG

Bios setting:
273Mhz 5:4 2-5-2-2
1 . Game Accelarator = Auto
2. Refresh Cycle Time = Enhanced
3 . Read Delay (tRD) = Auto
4. Read Delay Adjust(tRDA) = Auto
5. Command Per Clock (CPC) = Auto
Vmem 2.9V
Vcore 1.65V (4100Mhz)

Video Card.
Max Oc 555Mhz and 410Mhz for mem. 1.92V-3.6V
The behavior of the video card is very weird
If I regulate the memory to all 410mhz works perfectly not some artefact (410Mhz perfect image, not any artefact !!)
If I increase the value of the memory to 415mhz I do not see the image in the screen and the test crash!!!
Maybe is limit...

The System.
I installed alone the essential..
WinXP (no sp1)
DX 8.1
Drv
And 2001SE(no patch)
I used the classic to optimize,Absolutely not any tweak !!!!!! I do not know of it :(

It does not seem to have forgotten me nothing....
