well after about 12321312123 minutes deciding where to post this fnucking topic - i decided here ('cus it has the most viewers :'))
Anywhore
This is kinda stupid but anyway here goes
I have a CPU fan (coolmaster blah) and basically i found it in my office.. and i thought "oh i could use this maybe get the cpu temp <30c"
So i went to grab it..and found out that the cable for the power has been cut...so now i have no connectors, Just 3 wires
-Black, Negative
-Red, Positive
-Yellow, "F.G" which i'm guessing must be ground?

Is there anyway i can just connect them to a spare molex connector?
The fan says its " 12v 0.41A " which i belive is okèy.
Btw it wont be actually on my CPU just blowing on it or whatthefukcever (i already have a big fnuckoff cooler).
Suggestions?

DOEI!

you got the first two right, but the yellow one is the signal to tell the mother board (if its plugged into it) how fast the fan is going. and yes you can just plug it into a molex connector, if you make it fit into the connectors, the red wire on the fan would go to the yellow wire on the molex connector (the red wire on the molex connector is 5volts not 12 like you want) and the black wire from the fan goes to the black wire next to the yellow one on the molex connector. and you don't need to pug in the yellow wire on the fan
