the balsitex is 109 with a $40 rebate on new egg, and since u want 2sets that adds up, and u may want to swap into the 1gb 2900 if u can it dosnt add much performance at the moment but it will use less power since gssr4 runs half of a volt less than gddr3

and 850W is way to much for that system u would be fine with a corsair hx620 or anything in the 600-700W range but make sure that u get the 8pin on the psu

the benches for the x38 should be out this week or next week rite before the relies on the 10th

and make sure for os that u get xp pro x64, vista be/ulti 64bit, u will need 64 bit for that much ram in ur computer

the 2900xt are all the same size, and look at the Olympus from silverstone $30 more but with the 8pins so that u can oc or cross fire without shorting pins

You could save money on the music card by getting the original xtremegamer you were going to get. Your paying for the name with the fatality and the x-ram which is a gimick. They both use the same processing chip which is the main thing. Just stay clear of the xtremeaudio because it doesn't have the processing chip.

the prelude will only give u better sound if ur doing things with analog files over an analog output

if ur get good headphones then thats a different story, but in game it uses standard eax3/4/5 since creative wont release documentation on it so it uses the default creative stuff for that, but with an oced apu
