Hopefully some 3dm06 pros can help me out here

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=2916399

2x8800 ultras, 680/1181.

19762, 3.95ghz, pcie 120mhz on both slots, auto SPP-MCP clock, 5-5-5-12 sync mode.

7937, 8832, 5969 (SM2, SM3, CPU).

i think i need to do a pencil mod on the GPU and see if i can bump it to 700mhz core. any bios tweaks i could do (gfx).

Which driver should I use for optimum performance (i just used the stable nvidia one, 163.22)?

On another bench at the same CPU freq in Windows xp 64bit (clean install), i got 6180 for CPU score. In 32bit, i get 5969, but the SM2/SM3 scores have increased by over 100.

try LOD 3.1, might add some points.

PCI-E = 135MHz and SPP-MCP = 270MHz with Southbridge voltage = 1.8V and HTT = 1.55 to 1.6V ......ALSO lower the Cas latencies on your rams...:)

This tweak is only for 8800 ultra or all 8800 series ????

This is a hardware "tweak" (if you could say that).......and it's for EVERY VGA out there.....;)

That's one which is around ever since videocards were made, no? I remember getting a nice boost with an AGP @ 80Mhz.
