Graphics chipset/drivers are no longer identified, instead they report 'Illegal Project Type' - no matter what age the score is. Anyone know whats going on?

It's been like that for several days... and since they don't support 01 anymore, I doubt they'll be too quick to fix it if they fix it at all.

Looks like FM is dumping 01 :(
i would hope they don't. i wonder if they are bringing out the new 3-dmark soon? that would be the best way for them to offset the complaints about dumping "01".
when is rydermark going to be out? ever?

Maybe it isn't profitable anymore to maintain the 3dmark01 database

3dmark 2003 is perfectly suitable to replace 2001se now.
it seems to rely just as much on the system, as 2001se does.
but I doubt theres too many that would like to make that transition...
but its a perfectly viable one.

01 > 03 imho. They should ditch 03 instead of 01

Not good if they quit the 2k1 bench.... :shakes:
They must NOT quit it like that.....It's FAR the best bench out there to find out how your system does (despite the vgas).......;) :)

The ideal perhaps is to graft 2001 onto 03 and give each game 10 points per frame in the whole of 2001 and GT1 of 03 and then 20 points per frame in GT2/3/4 of 03. This would balance it up in relation to graphics and cpu power but still let us have the fun of both. You could stop and let things cool down and make adjustments after any game of course.
Having said that, you could tack on the end, for 30 points a frame, Canyon from 06 as well with no stop after GT4 of 03 .. just to punish those LN2 guys :D
That would be a pretty comprehensive test of cpu and gpu I think.

03 is a bad comparison...even with 2900XT's in CF it is heavily GPU bound and pretty much not system bound at all. The 8800 guys tell me the same.
If anything behaves somewhat like 01, its 05...but even that's a bad comparison.
There is no substitute for 01 and never will be.
There is no substitute for 01 and never will be.
my thoughts exactly

my fingers are crossed that this is just a site glitch for the moment.
