I want to volt mod my 7900GS. It's the 600M XXX Edition. Stock factory clocks are 600/1,600 MHz.

The RAM (Hynix 1.4 ns) clocks well so I want a VGPU.

That's mine.

That's not stable. It runs stable @ 610/870 (1,740 MHz)

http://www.xfxforce.com/web/product/listConfigurationDetails.jspa?series=GeForce%26tra de%3B+7900&productConfigurationId=687681

I can't use any 7900GS/GT guides because the PCB is different.

It looks like this.

That's not mine. But that's what it looks like. That's the 450M version.

---------

So I got the codes from the voltage regulator chips.

APW7067N
A19U1 = same as ISL6549

63H2DXK_G4
ACT08

4410
BE6S1K

4420
BA6V13

The only one I could find solid info on is the first one.

APW7067N
A19U1

http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/4002/fffffcu8.jpg

It seems that it has to do with OCP and what not and will not help my vmodding :(

--------

The only other code I kind of found in on was 63H2DXK_G4
ACT08

http://www.alldatasheet.com/view.jsp?Searchword=ACT08

----------

If I could fine the regulator that is for vmem and vgpu I could use a pencil or solder and get a multimeter.

The 450M has RT regulators and mine doesent which is even worse for me.

--------

See what a vmodded 7900GS can do.

Help would be appreciated.

Why do you think so? I don't see any difference (except color of PCB and name of Vmem-controller) between that XFX 7900GS and reference 7900GS/GT cards. Anpec APW7067 is the same chip as Intersil ISL6549. Try use mods for reference cards.

ive tried they dont work

thx for telling it's same as ISL6549

but that's not the one for vgpu

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=139970

and mine dont have any RT

My 7900gt looks the same.. especially in the area were you do the voltmod.

ps. 3minutes ago i just removed my voltmod because of artifacts and my old overclocks are not stable anymore...dont know why...

Yea I believe the VGPU regulator is that tiny square close to the power socket (U502). This chip is present in many of the other vmods I have found for the 7900gs/gt. The VGPU measure point is also very close to it.

Look at this guide:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=1880311&postcount=14

My PCB looks very similar to yours, and the VGPU measure point worked for me.

Interestingly enough it seems that my attempt to increase the voltage via the bios worked, that VGPU measure point reads 1.3V for me. Try using Nibitor to mod the bios if the above guide doesn't work for you.

Follow this guide:
http://www.aoaforums.com/frontpage/content/view/1190/30/

Using this program:
http://www.mvktech.net/component/option,com_remository/Itemid,26/func,selectfolder/cat,92/page,4/

Seemed to work for me, even though it didn't gain me any clock speed.
