LG GSA-H62NK Doesn't Spin Down

Hey guys,
Just grabbed an LG GSA-H62NK SATA DVD Burner because my Sony gave out on me. It works just fine, reads discs, etc. But when I insert a disc, it doesn't spin down until I remove it! Is there any solution to this, or do I have to RMA the drive?

You update to the latest firmware to start with.

Where can I find the firmware? I looked on the LG site and couldn't find it.

thats great i just look too and didnt see firmware listed on their site, us or international


i think that those drives are based off of the sony drive though so some searching might lead u to getting better firmware from some ware else, and did u update the drivers lg had those

start -> programs -> creative -> creative entertainment center, and click on creative entertainment settings. Turn off the remote!

Should fix it.
