Well the fan on my NB died on my DFI SLI-DR board and I can't seem to figure out how to order a new fan. I looked around the DFI site but didn't have much luck. If anyone knows of a vendor or something before I just ditch the whole board as a backup and get a new one I would appreciate it.

Most of us DFI 939ers went for the Evercool VC-RE as chipset fan replacement...

There's also some better coolers from Thermalrgiht, but you'll have to find wich one suits your board better

Since you guys were so quick with the replies regarding the air cooling solution perhaps you can point me to some decent water cooling blocks.

Water cooling block for NB? Well really, NB doesn't need to be cooled that much. It won't help with overclocking anyways. It would be just extra heat going through your water cooling system. Unless you want silence then it would be a good reason.

That's the one you want for your DFI. Previous poster is absolutely right about the WCing idea. The Evercool + good case flow will be just fine. NB cooling can help stabilize high OCs on something like a 680i series board, but isn't needed for AMD's current lineup.

Might be a good idea to replace mine too since the stock one drives me nuts with its noise.

They are both VGA coolers (not sure what vid card I would ever put that on - LOL), but are more commonly used for NB cooling. I'm pretty sure the VC-RF is a little too big to fit the DFI + it's a lot more expensive than it's cheaper little brother.

get the evercool or if your not running SLI, thermalright HR-05 SLI.
