Steam crashes

is anyone running vista 64 with steam

steam has crashed on load for the past 2 days??

dont know if it is vista, steam or just my hardware

i think it might be the latest vista update that happened the other day

i cant install vista update kb936782 so i dont know what is going on i cant run steam, install through autorun C&C3 or enable my wierless

hmmm... i havent logged onto steam to play any games in the past couple of days, i will try when i get home later, and report back.

I got Steam running on my system with Vista x64 installed. I haven't experienced any problems with it, delete your clienregistry.blob file in your Steam folder and try starting it up again. Before doing so make sure you remember your account name & password as it will ask to you re-enter the info.

You could always try to uninstall/reinstall if danny's method doesn't work. Just make sure to back up your steamapps folder if you don't want to re-download your games (and your cfg folder if you want your favorites).
