Hi there,
I just noticed that the drive is so slow, f.e. during windows install it takes very long before it reconize there is a cd in the drive, and also when I try to burn on nero @ my max speed for a DVD RW disk is just 2.270 kb/sec , as my old 3 years NEC could do 4.500kb/sec, this is not the SATA version btw.
Any clue?
Specs: DVD-RAM=14x DVD-RW/DVD+RW = 8x/6x DVD+/-R(DL)=8x , CD-R= 48x , CD-RW=32x
