I'm looking for opinions of what mounting method would benefit me most.

Okay, I bought a Seasonic M12 SS 700watt. It has a large 120mm fan on the one side and 60mm on the side where all the cables are exiting the PSU. So there is no fan in the usual place exhuasting out of the case like most PSU's I see.

I bought the PC-A70B http://www.virtual-hideout.net/reviews/Lian_Li_PC-A70/index3.shtml.

If I mount this on top I will lose one of the two 120mm fans I have for exhuast and there is no blowhole on the very top of the case to exhaust heat like I thought there was. I have a Enzotech Ultra-X for CPU cooler for Q6600 G0. Just wondering which way would be best in terms of proper airflow/ circulation.

I have a GTX that will be installed with the HR03-Plus and Sharkoon fan to mount on it. Sound card will be a few slots below video card.

Mount it to the top. Should help the airflow inside the case as the psu's fan sucks hot air that rises up in the case.

ide mount the psu on the bottom and get the mounting plate for the top to drop a 120mm in there, and mount the hs so it will blow up there too. u could also cut a hole in the top, but that might not be an option since the case is so shin and costly that moding wont be appropriate for u (it all depends on if u feel comfortable cutting a circle and drilling some holes)

Top all the way. Take a look at most power supplies now, they have one large fan on the botton. This takes warm air straight from the CPU/PWM area and vents it out.

Ya see, that's the only thing I don't want to start cutting holes in it. I discovered last night you can buy a whole top piece with room for two fans to exhaust out top but I can't find this accessory as of yet. When I do I will get it.

Yes, generally I always see the PSU at the top to suck out the hot hair and I agree with this method.

I guess, I was really questioning where the two fans are located on this PSU to be sufficient at the top cuz I would lose one of two of my exhaust fans (which is no biggie as long as it works) that are at the very back of the case. Maybe I'm just worrying about nothing but I just don't want to hinder the airflow by doing the wrong thing.

There is no fan at the very back where the switch is like most other PSU's. I guess it don't matter as long as it sucks it out one way or another.

I will give it a go and see what the temperatures are as soon as I get my last shipment I need yet in order to start putting this thing together. This is my first build so I guess I'm being real critical about everything.

Hey, thanks guys for being there when I need ya:up:
