Hello,

Ive just finished a gaming setup and for some reason i cannot get video signal to go through. I got it working like once or twice just from constantly restarting the system. After those two times of it working i cant get the signal back, here is the setup.

Proc - AMD AM2 X2 6000+
Mobo - Asus Crosshair
RAM - OCZ Reaper DDR1150 PC2-9200 4 Gigs
PSU - PC Power and Cooling 510 ASL-Turbo Cool SLI Certified
X-FI Elite Pro
DVD RW combo drive
Video Card - Sapphire ATI x1950xtx
proc is on vapochill which works fine

Monitors - Two Gateway 21inch HD Monitors

Speakers - logitech z5500

I heard rumors about the 1900 series not working well with hd monitors so i connected it to another lcd and installed the drivers, it worked for a bit then after a restart no video feed. ive tried using 2 gigs instead of 4, doesnt make a difference.

i have a feeling the power supply isnt strong enough, any suggestions?

Time for process of elimination. If you have another PSU, try it. If you have another video card, try it. You already tried another monitor, although it was the exact same model.

Have a friend with a CRT?

Try without the sound card.

Update

Ok the times I got it to work, if i jiggled the dvi or vga cable while the signal was going through the signal cut out, then sometimes came back on, but even when i screwed the cable in nicely it would still cut out if i jiggled it. Therefore I went through like 4 different cables both vga and dvi and still same result. I took 2 gigs of the ram out, the sound card out tried it again, tried reseeding...nothing, going to bring the card to a friend house and pop it in his comp to figure out if it the card or not.

Sounds like maybe the connection on the card or on the monitor could be faulty?
