Point of dual RJ-45 motherboard?

Did a search, didn't really find anything.

Just wondering what the point of motherboards these days having two RJ-45's?

Can you really use both at the same time?

one for connecting to and outside network(the web) and the other for an internal network(LAN).

They are two different NICs, so, in some cases they are usefull.

I use them all the time...one for my regular lan, the other to connecto to pcs im servicing.

Anyway...for me its a requierement in new mobos...at least, my mobos.
