n00b question: boot up stutter . . .

this may be a dumb question :cool: or maybe I missed something in the manual to my p5b dlx, but anyone have any ideas on why my computer will light-up, spin the fans when power-button is pushed, but then within less than a second seemingly die, all lights dissapear, fans stop/slow and then one full second or so later it bots all the way.... what gives? :shrug:

power supply not getting the power-on signal it wants or something? ive got a thermaltake 500watter on my machine, with asus p5b dlx...

same happens with mine don't know what thats all about to be honest but hopefully someone can answer it for us. i been running that way for a while now without any problems as far as i can see.

yep, i made a thread just about this couple a weeks ago, got my problem when i switched to 8600GTS, it was sooo smoth before with my 7600GT!
Im using A commando.
