Everyone add whatever you can, if your running part time let it run a extra hour, do whatever you can to add to team output. We are out producing the 2 teams in front of us and it,s time to take a spot in top ten and keep it.

Seems like your kicking it in hard Hardass!!!, Knew you would!!! hehe. Seems like your back. Your output has tripled!!!

Guess i can add a couple more OC'd 1700xps to the fire, since you've kicked it in high gear. Gotta go rob some cases for PS's.

Shutting down the prom and 3 pelt rigs and going duals is the ticket. Elect is down 125.00 from last month.

Tedinde

I shut down my 1.6a @ 2.92ghz, that had a 226 watt pelt on it. Waiting to see how much it drops, im expecting about $35-40. Still purrs along @ 2.7 no problems though.

I had a meter that you plug into the wall then plug whatever into it, i got from Radio shack last year, It's digital, Just put in your price per KWH, and it tells you what it costs per hour, day, week, month to run whatever.

My dual was more efficent than running 2 rigs, I've got 2 here now. I keeps the lookout on ebay for Asus 266-d's whenever i can get them for $120 or less.

On August 2 (?) I'll be ordering my new parts for one of my old computers (1800XP, unknown mobo, 128 mb ram) and I'll be back folding 24/7 on my main machine...

On a side note...

I'll probably install Linux on this machine so I'll be using that client (I only have Win 95, XP is Dell's, I don't have a reg XP copy), but do you think 128 mb ram will be enough for just running F@H 24/7?

Tedinde
07-08-2003, 04:43 PM
128mb mem is way more than enough if that's all your doing is F@H on linux.

Hiryuu
07-08-2003, 06:42 PM
My celeron 600@900 rig has been folding for over a month now with only 64mb or ram and hasn't had memory problems at all (running win2k pro so 128mb should easily be enough for a dedicated linux folding box).

I even use Winvnc to change settings and check it's status from time to time and it still doesn't get mem problems.

Got it. Sometimes it can be a real pain in the butt with these summer thunderstorms! When the power gets interrupted I try to get ALL my rigs up and going ASAP.

at stanford (http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/searchteamstats)
and ........
at extremeoverclocking (http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_members.php?TeamID=3365)
Neither link shows our team...

Working hard to replace a 1.0 Duron rig with a 1.8 AMD. Hope to have it online by end of the week. Right now it seems to have a case ground that keeps it from booting, going to have to insulate the motherboard from the case.

Doubling the efforts on getting the OC on the Dual here to go a bit higher, also added in an 800 Duron. Might have a higher (sub-gig) Celeron Folding off and on. Doin pretty decent too.... About to break back into the top 50's. With present output, Ill be able to get into the low 40's high 30's I think. Might lookin into an upgrade for the 800 rig, but need to scrounge up a few bucks first lol

Judging from the stats, we should be able to overtake amdmb in about 3 weeks time.

I'm dropping DF for now and coming in full force for f@h 3365......just want to be around when we hit Top 10 spot.

On madlan i will try to take the most out of a 1700 JIUHB in my modded & aircooled AOpen HX45 ... after that it will keep folding 24/7.
That should be an extra 700 Mhz to 800 Mhz.

Same time i will add an extra XP1600 24/7. That is an extra 1400 Mhz.

Over 2.000 extra AMD megahurtzes comin' up in a week or two :D
