Help me identify this MICRO RES fill connection....

I just saw a custom WC case that had what I thought was a unique connection between the Swiftech MICRO-RES' fill port and the top of the case. See the photo attachment....

This setup would be perfect in my case for coolant management and for reservoir placement.

Can anybody help me identify this part? Is it custom or something I can buy off the shelf? If so....any ideas as to where?:)

That looks like 2 DD Perfect seal fittings and a fillport. The top of the res will need to be re-threaded for G1/4" for that to work.

So am I seeing tubing and black plastic clamps between the DD seals and fill port?

Yes. G 1/4" tapped most likely with DD perfect seal barbs and black plastic clamps. I was going to do the same thing but then I thought about it...

Why do I need an external fill port when I can fill directly with a funnel? Just becareful and don't fill when your computer is on :D

The fill port of the MICRO-RES comes with a Pg7 thread by default. Pg7 is a thread most commonly found in electric equipment (junction boxes etc. etc.), therefore you won't find a barb with Pg7 thread.

However, with patience and good pulse you can screw one of the 1/4" NPSM plastic swiftech barbs on it, and achieve a proper seal.

Alternatively, you can tap it to G1/4. I think some suppliers do this already.

What you see in the picture is two DD "perfect seal" G1/4 barbs, a section of what looks like 7/16" tubing, a DD fillport and plastic clamps.

Actually I just did in fact get a Swiftech G1/4 plastic barb with O ring into the MICRO RES with a bit of strength and patience...very very basic testing shows a good seal. Now I just ordered a fill port and will gauge tubing length and clamps for my situation.
