Well I am building a new rig and just got a DDC pump with Petra's top:) Anyways, I was reading how the DDC's got hot, and I want to take as much precaution as possible. Does it make sense to attach a heatsink to it? I am mounting the pump to the bottom of my case, so I was thinking of putting a little thermal grease on the bottom so my case would dissipate the heat. Does this make any sense?
Thanks!

That wont do anything except leave a mess... it will be fine, best thing you can do is have some airflow over the pump.

I stuck an undervolted small chipset fan spaced about 1/4" from the bottom of my pump with a bit of strong double-sided tape. It provides just a bit of airflow over the bottom and keeps it cool.
Got a 120mm fan from one of my rads blowing over them ;)
