p5k deluxe audio will not install

hi all,

have a problem;

xp sees the p5k audio controller as a "pci device" - the sound max drivers on the p5k cd will not install, neither will the newer ones i downloaded off the net.

any ideas? using the latest 505 beta bios - could that be it?
