New Rig. P35c-ds3r/E6850/TeamX 800mhz(2x1g)/x1950xt/OCZ700wpsu/Zalman9700 cpu cooler.
Did a small OC last night to 3200, seemed stable, so was going to run orthos today before ventured further.(8x400@1.35 v)(ddr 4-4-4-10@2.0v) at times system would freeze and reset button would not work, would have to manual turn pwr off.( read thread that onboard sound is the cause, makes no sense to me though)
Got a ATI2dvag infinite loop error. reinstalled 7.8 ccc and seems ok.( error only happened when opened BF2.
System hangs now. Thought memory was ok, since ran last night. Have one stick in now, ran memtest for 20 min, no errors. Played BF2 for half hr, system locked up. running prime95 torture test now, 40 min, no probs.
Any ideas? Is Team sending their 'junk' ddr2 to newegg? Have already RMA'd once.
