Why would you pay an extra $15 for a rebadge of the same block (http://www.petrastechshop.com/dfuuncpubl1.html)?
Ok. 1 dedicated loop to CPU, GTX > FuZion or I heard wrong?
Well its the same block, but I liked the all black top

As Waterlogged points out, that is a rebranded Fuzion... you can see how it performs compared to a GTX here... http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=151781
The general consensus seems to be that if you are running a dedicated CPU loop, the GTX is a good choice, and if you are running a multi-block loop, the Fuzion (with it's better flow) is the better choice.

You mean this (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=147869&highlight=Vortex)? I doubt the nozzles from D-Tek (if they ever get off their arse to make them public) would be $15. Also, $15 extra for just 1 copper nozzle? That's ridiculously outrageous.

YES exactly thank you.
But if you think about cost, and the fact that nozzles would push it about 5-10 dollars for the plastic ones. 15 isnt so bad for copper nozzles.

Having been a machinist that ran a 5 axis swiss machine (actually 3 of the 10 machines I had setup, program, operate responsibilities for) I can say with 99.99% certainty, that the nozzle that Fluid XP+ is adding to their blocks cost them very little (maybe $2-3 tops, depending on volume). This nozzle can be kicked out in roughly 1 minute on a swiss.

That nozzle doesn't even look that great of quality either

and seeing most of Dangerden's crap, you would say the same. But theres cost in labor, marketing, and vendor cap cost.
And no one can comment about the nozzles unless you have one. So we cant really tell what the performance difference is if any. But im willing to make a bet, with a good pump, it should perform a tad bit better then a regular fusion.

the vortex xp is just a fuzion with a showerhead metal nozzle. it performs better than the apogge gtx. on stock they are tied.

If your asking me if DD's stuff is overpriced, It's a little different as that's mostly mill work and as such takes a bit longer. For the quality of some of the things I've seen, absolutely overpriced. Those problems with the 8800's should have been caught at the machine first and foremost. If not there, then on final assembly, they must have hired Jeff Healey, Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles to put their 8800 blocks together.
I included that in my estimate. I worked out that I could (using some 110 copper pricing and a "conservative" shipping guesstimate from Mcmaster) make them myself (yes, I have all the proper equipment to ;), no I won't (cba) ) for .41¢ before any "overhead" was added. Now Mcmaster is not a economical place to source material from, so a true shop can get the material a fair bit cheaper from their proper source and maybe make them for .25¢ to .35¢ before overhead.
