I've now narrowed down my thoughts on 2 p35s mobos. The dfi and the asus preminum. Dfi is set to arrive in Canada later this week..or so NCIX says.
I have a q6600 g0 stepping l724a754 7/13/2007. It'll be on water in a single block loop with a pa120.3 (yes. overkill :D )
The dfi is just $30 more than the p5k here in Canada so the cost isn't much of a factor. So which mobo should I get?

most people will tell you to wait for x38 which is a really good idea, if you really do need it now i would just get the asus unless you want to spend the time with the dfi which are usually very picky, but very rewarding.

The thing is, I'm still in high school and class starts September. I would like to get this build down by then as I'm just waiting for the mobo. x38 is set for September 9, and school starts on the 4th :(. But I might just wait.
I know x38 is set for ddr3 but some manufacturers already said they would do ddr2. So the question is, will ddr2 x38 mobos come out on the 9th or am I going to wait more (that is if I even decide to go the x38 route).
I'm willing to wait for x38 if there is ddr2 versions coming out on the 9th (does anyone know?). But I would prefer getting the build over before school. Damn conundrum. Suggestions?

ehh real world performance wont be any different between chipsets. i mean games at real resolutions not 800x600, so id go with the asus board if i were you.
