7900GS mod makes noise

when ever my 79GS does heavy duty graphics it makes a hiss noise should i worry?

Well my 7900GTO also does make such noise and I haven't modded. It's just when the cards gets heavily loaded combined with not solid enough capacitor or power regulator or whatever component makes the noise. If you localize the source from where it comes hot glue might or might not remove it. I can't really tell where it comes from on my 7900GTO but it only does when vsync is turned off and frame rates are high.

This is my fear upgrading gfx card today as it only becomes more likely to have that problem since the capacitors and regulators aren't improved in same pace as performance for the graphics card are. But most people with nice gfx cards today use LCDs which don't like vsync off so it stays mostly on and many ppl won't therefore recognise it.
