Hi All,
I guess this is a really stupid question but is there anything decent that i can buy in the UK that i can use to replace my TNT2 32mb in my WCG machine?
basically ive got a board with SLI but i dont think the PCI-E ports are working and thats the reason ive been using a pci tnt2.
hopefully someone can come to my rescue?
i have found one on the egg but do they ship abroad?

get the board fixed and get a decent vid card. This isn't 1997 and PCI vid cards are dated to say the least :)

When you already have a 6600, why not just spend the 75.00 US and pick up a cheap P35 MB and get a decent card rather than spending about the same amount of cash for a card that will perform at maybe 20% of the PCI-E card? I thought it was constructive.

Any card will work for a WCG machine. Get a old 2mb ati rage off ebay for $0.01.

Um, no, that is far from constructive. The only thing that is is stating to get the board fixed. The rest is unneeded and has nothing to do with what he was asking for. Not everyone has the cash to spend on the newest stuff out there. Let alone buying some expensive card for some system that won't need it.
He asked for something such as

that.
I agree with ak here, if the rig is just for WCG, you don't need anything better. Now if it's your main rig and you want to game on it as well as WCG, such as myself, then the board replacement/repair is the best option.
If it's just for WCG basic usage, then get on e-bay and buy a cheap-o card.
