I'm looking for a decent, cheap, overclockable AM2 board to use with one of the new Opteron 121* HE series CPUs (Santa Ana, rev F3). The DFI infinity 570 SLI board looks good, but I can't find it for under £65 here in the UK. Does anyone know if the Abit NF-M2 NView supports Opteron Santa Ana CPUs?

I would imagine it does. The Opty 1212's are 940 pin afterall, shouldn't be a problem. At worst a BIOS update to read the correct CPU name.

BIOS-level support is the problem. From what I've read here, the only boards that work are the DFi infinty NF2, infinity nf570, lanparty 590, ASUS crosshair (with BIOS update) And a couple of the Biostar Tforce's. One guy tried an opty in an ASUS AM2 board (can't remember which one), and it just hung at POST...
EDIT: 3 consecutive BIOS updates from ABIT all seem to have CPU microcode updates.. let's hope this isn't just for Brisbane...
