In Vista, whenever I open a window in IE7, the mouse cursor does a brief imitation of a blue toilet flushing. When it is spending any time thinking, it flashes on and off in a rhater spastic manner. Does anyone else have this happen? Does anyone know of a solution?

What kind of mouse are you using? I know some of the higher end mice bump up the reporting rate of the USB port-try turning that option off or at least down towards standard, and see if the problem persists.
Also, you may be able to increase the USB port reporting rate WITHOUT a mouse, so check your BIOS and make sure everything is as it should.

Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0. I'll try turning down the reporting rate. Thanks!
