I need a new PSU. My HX620 is not enough.

Well the power supply is great, but I have a phase change unit that has a temp gauge. Well I started up speed fan and i don't have 12v's I only have 11.40v's. I used a cisco power supply from a router and the temp gauge works perfect.

So anyone know of a great psu that is modular that puts out exactly 12v or more.

check your current with a multimeter. dont trust software, especially speedfan

Well thats is one thing I do not have, and I am flat broke.

yeah don't trust software, speedfan reports my 12v line @ 11.25v's,
but mm says 11.92v's

Even if the voltage was at 11.4V that is still within tolerance. The 620W Corsair unit has well more then enough power for your system.

Well I am just going to use the cisco power supply. Making a mount for it to fit in a 5.25" bay.

Finding a unit that puts out exactly 12v or more without actually testing it is not really possible since there is unit to unit variation. That is part of the reason for the +/-5% specification.

You have a 8800, a Q6600, a huge LCD, phase change and you can't come up with less than $100 (Even a cheaper ~40 would be better than random number geenrator o' software reading) for a DMM? Right.
