My PSU is an OCZ ModXStream 780W
But I think the voltages are a bit high at +12V line and a little low at +5V line

My PSU voltages look like this...

Reported on BIOS PC Health screen:
+3.3V = shows "OK"
+12V = shows "OK"
+5V = not shown

Reported on EasyTune5:
+3.3V = 3.28
+12V = 12.42
+5V = not shown

Reported on Everest Ultimate 4:
+3.3V = 3.28
+12V = not shown
+5V = 4.78

Measured with a digital multimeter:
+3.3V = 3.35
+12V = 12.60
+5V = 4.89

Its a brand new rig (see sig), I just finished setting up everything together last wednesday, and still didn't have enough time to "play" with it. I haven't noticed any great variation and the system is not unstable.

Reading reviews avaible in the net most of them report this kind of behaviour and don't say anything against it.

Is this normal? Or should I be worried / replace for another PSU?
I thought quality and new PSUs should have voltages closer to specification.

I don't need all the 780W but this PSU was a good deal (it's new), against other PSUs that are noticeably more expensive. I don't have a large variety of PSUs to choose from. Only few Enermax, Corsair. Some OCZ, Zalman, Seventeam, Thermaltake. Zippy are rare and very expensive. Antec's are rare.

As long as its not below 5.75v you are fine. So there is nothing to worry about.

4.75? I read somewhere it could be as low as 4.60V

But anyway, +5V -5% = 4.75
multimeter = 4.89V (0.14V over minimum limit)
Everest = 4.78V (0.03 over minimum limit)

And the +12V?

multimeter = 12.60V (at the limit!)
Everest = 12.42 (0.18V under max limit)

My multimeter says is right in the mark of the ATX specification: 12.60V (12V +5%). My multimeter has a +/-0.5% precision.

Most reviews show under load the +5V gets adjusted higher and the +12V gets lower.

If your not having any system problems then i wouldn't worry about it.

You're probably right.

Still, I think I'll contact OCZ support, just to make sure.
