I can keep one of these two PSUs, they're both the same model and brand but one is new and the other one is around 1.5 years old. The new one puts out 11.88v on the 12v rail under load, the old one puts out 11.94v on the same conditions. SmartGuardian reads 11.82v for the new one and 11.89v for the old one. On idle, it reads 12.09v for both.

I've been told the old models were better built but not sure if I want to keep an old PSU.

Also the new one has very bright LEDs which I really like, the LEDs on the old one are dim.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I would keep the newer one which will have it's warranty for longer than the older one.

Thanks, that's what I thought at first but after reading that the old ones were better and I checked with my DMM, I wasn't sure what to do.

As a PSU ages, more specifically the capacitors, then it isn't able to provide the power it once could. But as mentioned above more important is the warranty lasting longer.
