I recieved it today and installed it. Temperatures are about 1C lower, but I am wondering if it will have any cure time at all. I applied it like mx-1, a 1 cm strip down the processor and let it spread itself.

a 1cm strip horizontal or vertical?

Pretty sure, vertical. I've always done the blob, maybe I'll give that a go.
