OK... I just bought this and must admit I am a total no0b when it comes to phase change. I just finished up conquring TEC cooling and wanted to try this.... Well, I kind of jumped in feet first and need some help.
First off... are there any write up or instructions or walkthrough for this system?
Also, I have this part and I have no clue what it is for :

Here are some pictures of the setup.

Is this a good setup?
Is there any maintenance that I need to worry about?
What about upgrades... what can I do?
Are there any online intructions to this thing?
Also, if there is any information that you could give me that would help me out... it is very much appreciated
Thanks in advance for you help!
the yellow plug is a type K tempture probe. (yellow is the standard color for type K). this probe is proberbly mounted on evap and you need a type K termometer to be able to use it unless the controller have a type K socket to plug it into. Example of compatible termomters is fluke 5x serie, Uei dt150/dt200.
yes it's a nice unit, nothing to complain about if the unit have a good tuning.
about installation on hardware check the stickies :)
upgrades? you could atleast get it running and see how it performs before you're thinking about upgrading it ;) you can't do any upgraders for performance unless you have the knowledge, equipment and experience of hvac.

I'm pretty sure the Vapoli V2000 units have a controller, so the K-typle thermal probe should plug into it.
You'll also have to insulate your motherboard, but that's pretty well covered in the stickies.
Edit: It's to bad Jinu disappeared, his units were really nice.

Wasn't Jinu's Vapoli's turned for 240w or so? I'd say that system is rather nicely equipped. Just mount it up and you are good to go.

185 watts. THat be a dual core unit. It also has a rather straight suction so watch out for liquid floodback. Otherwise keep the load up, and a nice small and quiet system. But keep the load constant, but its not for a quad.

Could it be modified for a quad or even a G0 stepping quad?

Would require ripping down the unit quite a bit, cutting the cap tube, condenser I think would be a bit over hung with it, taking higher speed panaflos. And I'm not sure Jinu modifies his Chilly1 evaps. Almost better to get a different unit.

Wow, that's an older unit :) Think it might have froster on it looking at it... -_-;
K-type was supplied for people who wanted accurate temp read out (if you wanted to shell out money for K-type meter :P)
I actually talked to him in e-mail few weeks ago to assist and haven't heard back lately ;) looking at cap tubing tag I had, it must have been tuned for quite high load back than... probably around 220w-230w range I would think.
And yes, I've never used chilly1 evap stock NoL. Wonder who taught little tricks for you while back? Hmmm...
I keep finding interesting behaviours that I didn't know about while I was gone... Thanks Boshunter :)

If I remember Jinu we talked quite a bit, you had said that it takes to much time to rough up a Chilly1 evaporator or tap the center when I said I did both.
Is that 6' 8" of .031" or 9' 8"?

That unit would well and truly hold a Q6600G0 at a nice overclock like 3.6ghz.
1.45vcore My Xe2 Vapo his holding mine at 3.6Ghz 1.375 vcore it doesnt struggle at these Mhz speeds..
Even suicide cpuz shots are fine with higher vcore because ur at idle and arnt loading it up..
Enjoy...
