Well my father has purchased some computer parts.
Q6600
8800gts
IP35 Pro
2x 7200.10 320GB
2GB ram
1x optical drive
Corsair 520 PSU
4 fans
Unfortunately he did not know that I will over clock the PC. :( I believe that the Corsair could run the system fine at stock, but I will go for 3.4Ghz on the CPU and a mild over clock on the GPU.
Would it be good to ship back the PSU in order to get a better one?

You have a nice PSU. Why ship it back? The HX520 is sufficient if you are not going to run SLI.

I might have gone for that PSU, but the price was a little out of my range.:(

I'm just not sure how it will handle an over clock on a quad core. My PC right now uses a 220Watt PSU. I just don't know how much power this set up will need.

You should have no problems, unless you are benching on LN2 or CO2 with 2x VGA's :)

You'll be fine. The 620HX would be good if your overly worried about it but you'll be rock solid with the 520.
The 620 might be more future proof but considering GPU's and CPU's are all moving to 65nm and eventually 45nm, it's hard to say whether or not power requirements will keep going up or actually even drop. Wouldn't that be nice?
