Well if you don't install kb932596 and disable kernel protection you can run core temp, rivatuner, & atitool without problems.

Regarding Core Temp: You don't have to do the F8 dance... I'm on Vista64 and it works...

Hi guys,
*Another [E]xclusive guide*
Me and Ad1 were trying to get Coretemp working in Vista X64 without having to disable Driver Signing from boot every single time and came up with this:

Download the CoreTemp hack from here -> http://forums.erodov.com/local_links.php?catid=18

Extract this to your favorite directory (say C:\CoreTemp)
Just make sure before you start the actual "CoreTemp.exe", you run "coretemp-startup.bat"

This will load the CoreTemp driver and thus will allow CoreTemp to function normally without having to disable driver signing

Sometimes Atitool just wont load the kernel driver for some reason, the other time it does work ok. It's definately behaving weird.

Holding F8 before bootloader runs will allow you to select disabling driver signing requirements

Using the add/remove programs feature in the control panel will allow you to uninstall updates (make sure to display updates)

When you restart the machine do the clock speeds revert to stock? Mine do. Also, does Nview monitor work on yours? If so, could you send me a list of apps and drivers you have on your machine. Mine worked at one time, but doesn't anymore.
