I need new PSU (my Antec True Control 550 died after a few years of good job) ...
Top quality 850W (more or less) - which one to buy ?
ANTEC TruePower Quattro 850 or something else ?
I like benching (LN2 too, and maybe SLI / CF) - so I need strong, top quality PSU.
Help me to chose a good one :D

I'd recommend a Silverstone OP/DA...
personally i have the 750w DA (theres 850 w version too), powerfull, silent, only issue being the not fully sleeved cables...

For overclocking a single 12V rail PSU is a must, check the thread over here:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=138129
Mostly Silverstone, PCP&C & Corsair. The Antec Quattro is certainly a good buy but it isn't single 12V...
Do you mind that a PSU isn't superquiet? PCP&C is your best bet. Though JonnyGuru reviewed the PCP&C Silencer 750W and he wasn't very enthousiastic on the voltage regulation, but the Turbo-Cool series does bring the goods but is just noisy! If you really want a more silent solution, I would go with a proper Silverstone Olympia. With extreme overclocking like with LN2 I would always suggest a big PSU, like 750W-1000W depending on how far you want to go with it. I'm suggesting a 650W Silverstone Olympia until I know what you're going to do with that LN2 cuz current 8800ULTRA SLI setups will have something like a 500W power consumption

Great advice :D thx
I rather be benching with single VGA (SLI rarely)
So I need single rail 12V ... hmm
I need to feed my maximizer too (if it doeas matter) 4x1GB + OC ...
For me PSU doesn't have to be superquiet - with small load it shouls be quite, but when benching can be a bit noisy :D
Cable managment would be nice - but not necessary
Can You recomend for me one of PSU avaliable here (http://www.komputronik.pl/Zasilacze_do_obudow/ATX_high_end/katalog,kat,1696/) or here (http://zenfist.pl//cP/95/page/1/sort/4d) price are in PLN so I can accept up to 700-900PLN (or a bit more if worth ...)
Silverstone has a lot of psu line and I lost

If you are doing LN2 stuff with say 2xGPU's in the future, these are the best bet from the first store.

Olympia 1000W is a bit too expensive for me
First link isn't concrete

Hmm can't read polish that much (give me french, english or german and i'll read it but :P:P).
I can would recommend the Corsair HX620 though it's a tad on the low wattage side for extreme overclocking such as something like LN2-benching, can anyone verify this because I do not know how much extreme overclocking takes of power consumption.
So my eventual recommendation is a Silverstone Olympia. Gets some good reviews and has a single rail (this Olympia series and the Decathlon series have single 12V rail setup). Though the Decathlon (modular) doesn't score that well as the non-modular Olympia when it comes to reviews... This is probably since modular cabling affects the voltage output which is why in some testing voltage regulation has been observed as not as good as that of the Olympia
So take your budget and look for the Olympia that suits your budget and needs for power
Recommendation on budget: Olympia 850W
Note that the Decathlon is absurdly more expensive in the shop you mentioned (Komputronik I mean), while it has the same internals only modular interface added...
Also to be noted is that the 850W versions of both the DA as the OP have 2x 8-pin PCI-E which means it will run some G90 sweetness (not guaranteed G90 SLi but at least single VGA).

First link = Thermaltake Toughpower 1kW. If you are going to use LN2 and CF/SLI in the future, I'd get a unit that regulates very well. Those don't come cheap.

He said 700-900 so no a PSU in the 1300 range isn't a great idea.
Get the Olympia, I bet you'll like it, especially for that price (by the looks of it, I don't know the current exchange rate)
And back on the G90 SLi thing. I'm guessing those 4x PCI-E 6-pins you can get two more 8-pins with adapters which should make a G90 setup possible, I say 80% it will run G90 SLi without any hassle :). Even when you stay single VGA, it can power some massive overclocks where some multi 12V-rail (say a TT Toughpower 850?) would give up on you.

I think I will buy Olimpia 850 ... thx for every advice :D

Well, he also mentioned LN2 and 2x GPU's in his first post.I went by that.

Okay what do you think that consumes total? My guess is it won't even get to 700W

Maybe you should talk to Gautam about that before pulling out numbers. ;)

I would consider the Zippy 6701P to be the best 700W on the market (btw yotomeczek, if you can find the Zippy 6850 that would be the ticket)
The 2900XT's in CrossFire overclocked tripped the supply's overcurrent protection. I'm having to use two PSU's for xtreme overclocks on CPU and GPU's. But the cards take so much that even on something like a watercooled rig an 850 would more or less be a necessity...

Zippy is inaccessible on Polish market
Well - I Don't have two GPU and don't expect soon :(
Soo for xtreme OC with Vmods (and no SLI/CF) 850W will be enough I hope ... (1000W is a bit expensive for me right now)

I was talking about it consumes 700W, not a 700W PSU. This means that with load and efficiencydrops and 3V and 5V rails it's a good choice to take some headroom with 850W. Ofcourse that doesn't exist so if you're not pulling out the big guns say a HD2900XT CF subzero oc'ed and a phase-change CPU. A 850W will do fine. No-one likes maxing out a PSU because it will ware much faster. And please try everything you can to max out a Olympia 850W I bet I won't give up until you go to insane Vcore's.
