To warm things up I started with the P5K3-D and OCZ DDR3-1800
Thermaltake 1200w PSU
Nvidia 8800 Ultra w/ Swifted Stealth
8K BTU AC subcooling
My triple stage cascade @ -98c
Single card runs up first, I have both still attached to the loop, one hanging.

Oooh...now this is what we've been waiting for! Great speeds, really looking forward to your 06 SLI runs. ;)

You're insane man....
Awesome.

Added more benches, 3D stuff.
Done for a bit and SLI coming up next on a stronger board. The 680i was able to do the best on the Vapo and I expect it to do best on the cascade.

Great results Charles
What VCore did you use?
How the cascade hold the load with higger voltages?
Yeh, now you should try the SLI setup with the 680i
With the Q6600 G0 I get excelent results with EVGA 680i, but the 470Mhz FSB limit (quite high for Quads with 680i anyaway) does not maky sense to put it on mini-cascade due to the 9x multiplier
I'm jealous :) I wish I have a QX6850 - my favorite game will love to run on one of these CPU's even in the mini-cascade

The max Vcore on the board is 1.8v but I didnt measure with a probe. Pretty much maxed out for voltage, the cascade doesnt give move much so there was no problem with load.
I was checking your 2k1 numbers
Thanks

Good stuff Fugger, DDR3 is already starting to show better performance already in most benchmarks.

yeah but.. the pricing of ddr3 is just ridiculous right now, it needs come down to ddr2 level before most of us can afford em.. ;)
oh and great scores Fugger :toast:
