the other night my computer shut it self down for no reason, now when i boot it up it doesnt even post and the code its giving me is C1 and some times when i reboot it tells me my bios is damaged and tells me to reflash.... any ideas on what is happening here?

C1 is usually a memory problem. I'd try each stick one at a time and see what happens.

Yep, memory. Try pulling one stick out, boot. If not switch to the other stick, boot. if not get some cheapo DDR2 for $50 to test the board.
Seems DDR2 is having issues with reliability. It actually looks to be alot of trouble with bad solder joints. The combination of the tiny BGA balls on the DDR2 chips, and the switch to low/no lead solder and water based clean up has lead to less mechanically strong joints.
So handling DDR2 sticks BE GENTLE.

yupp it was a memory problem bought some new ram today
