I need to build a refg. recovery system and any links for a DIY system Would be very helpful.
I have a couple of ac compressors and some condensors new or old and a certified recovery tank.
Any sites or help would be much appericated.

I saw you thread, but i was unsure if i could use a rotary compressor from ac unit?
I want to recovery r12 from some water coolers and other old units and the ac compressors use r22.

Well the three threads of most use, you need to make one for each gas you'll be recovering, and a rotery will have serious issues with over heating, which limmits us in the DIY field to low temp hermetics as they are best suited for this!
Invest in a good quality re-usable bullet peircing valve, and for dealing with R-12 the seal right antiblow back hose set, I use a procedure where I can vacuum out the high stages of my hose set to the suction side of the machine to get around it, but due to how convoluted the method is, I'll simply say spend the money, and those hoses shall forever live on the R-12 recovery system!
