I have 4 GB of OCZ PC6400 Special Ops (4x1GB) and I am using Vista Home Premium x64 but somehow I can only see 3GB. I have the same problem with my motherboard (Asus Commando). However, CPU-Z shows the full 4GB.

Anyone here who can help me?

enable the memory hole remap option in the bios.

Thats what I thought but the problem is that I can't find it anywhere. Which option am I supposed to change? The manual was no help at all btw

Edit:

I just found this via Google and i'm gonna try it in a couple of minutes. Hopefully this 'll work.

Another thing mentioned in support forums, kinda hinted at if you can get through the manuals tech lingo after the 10th reading.
I like running a machine with 4GB Ram... Celeste does too, even though she has Vista 32 at least it reads 3GB. Even with my new 4GB of Kingston PC6400 the BIOS would still read 3 GB. My old board could read 4GB, why not this beastie
To the forums... and a mention of 'Remapping'

Found it! For posterity's sake; I mention now the path in the BIOS to fix a Comando so that it detects the Ram, because most people mention it, but no one says where.
BIOS> Advanced> Chipset> Northbridge Configuration > Memory Remapping > Enable
Reboot and now the BIOS detects the full 4 GB, and since I have the 64-bit version, even my system sees it

Update: This worked like a charm. Vista is showing the full 4GB :)
