Hi all, been coming here for a long time, but not posting that much.
But now I have a couple of questions, first, would I be welcome on the team
even though my score is kinda unimpressive??
And allso, could anyone give some specs on my graphics cards memory (see picture), any good??

well, if you want on the Team, you wanna talk to Mr. Icee here.
he'll fill you in on Everything.
I am sure, you will be welcome here.
;)
as for your score being unimpressive.
well, there are a few basic things I can help you with right off the bat to get about 16,000-16,500 with no other changes to your overclock or anything.
1. get rid of DX9.
Use DX8.1 this will get you about 30-50 points extra on average.
the idea is alot of small point tweaks add up, so if you want the best score, even 30 points, is 30 more.
2. your using a rather run of the mill driver.
it's slightly fast, but not very fast for 3dmark2001se.
so try the cas 3.1 or 3.2.
Brett has a post here called something like "driver identification needed" in that post he links the fast driver from his own website, which is very nice, as they are alittle hard to find.
this will get you about 3-400 points.
3. your on Xp, but your using AMD.
the best AMD score always done with 2000 Pro.
2000 Pro is just faster for AMD, I am not really sure why, but it is.
it's always about 200 points faster. sometimes alittle more.
these should help you alot.
then theres the usual basic Bios tweaks, AGP Apeture at 256, max your cas, disable everything, USB, Serial, Floppy, sound, anything not necessary to benchmarking or that you just don't use (like for me, the serial and midi ports are useless)
Most of all...
patience is key.

My Aperture is set to 64, im using DX9 and Cat 3.4. I would downgrade my DX9 but its hassle and Im doing OK with the 9's. But its true that the 8's seem to give a few more points. Just look at the top 10 (Well exept mine :p: )
But Im going to try 3.1 tommorow to see if I can improve my 2001 score.
The link to the modded 3.1's are here :-
